Just Another Day

You know getting in and out of an elevator isn’t brain surgery and there are no right or wrong ways.  Just some people have to make it hard for everyone else.  I just can’t get my head around why.  The appropriate way is to approach the elevator, push the button up or down and then step out of the way because perhaps and this is speculation on your part that someone will be getting off.  I guess that’s where the hard part comes because most people seem to think that the elevator is just there for themselves so they stand right in front of the door and start pushing to get in before anyone has a chance to get out.  This does absolutely nothing for me and I’m sure not for many others either.  Where’s the appropriate life?  What’s happened to common sense?
